  • Maximum Payload

    MAXIMUM PAYLOAD

In the world of trucks, this is the maximum weight a vehicle can support in it’s in-vehicle tray and storage capacity. Silverado’s maximum payload is 760kg.
  • Advanced Trailering Tech

Silverado offers a number of features that help make a long day of towing easy, including the proven technology of Trailer Sway Control, Hill Start Assist and Auto Grade Braking. There are also segment firsts like Trailer Theft Alert, Electric Parking Brake Hookup Assist and Brake Gain Memory on the integrated trailer brake controller.

    Advanced Trailering Tech
  • ELECTRIC PARK BRAKE HOOK-UP

Auto Grade Braking works with the cruise control to help maintain Silverado’s speed on long, steep grades, while Cruise Grade Braking automatically downshifts to help slow the truck and preserve your brake pads on long, steep descents.
  • TOW/HAUL REMINDER

When the system detects that a trailer is hooked up to your Silverado, this feature can remind you to engage Tow/Haul mode, which improves acceleration while hauling a heavy load.
  • TRAILER THEFT ALERT

An industry-first feature, if the harness on your attached trailer is disconnected, your Silverado lights will flash and horn will sound.
  • AUTO & CRUISE GRADE BRAKING

Auto Grade Braking works with the cruise control to help maintain Silverado’s speed on long, steep grades, while Cruise Grade Braking automatically downshifts to help slow the truck and preserve your brake pads on long, steep descents.
  • StabiliTrak® ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL

StabiliTrak helps improve Silverado’s stability, particularly during emergency maneuvers. The StabiliTrak control module compares your steering input with the vehicle’s actual response and then, if necessary, makes small, individual brake and engine torque applications to enhance control and help you keep on track. StabiliTrak automatically intervenes when it senses loss of lateral traction.
  • TRAILER SWAY CONTROL

Working in conjunction with the StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control System, the Trailer Sway Control feature on Silverado can sense trailer sway and can automatically apply the vehicle and trailer brakes and reduce engine power, if necessary, to help you get back on track.
  • AUTOMATIC LOCKING REAR DIFFERENTIAL

This Silverado-exclusive feature sends maximum drive power to the wheel with grip in low-speed situations when rear-wheel slippage happens.
  • HILL START ASSIST

On inclines greater than a 5% grade, Hill Start Assist on Silverado automatically engages to hold the vehicle stationary for about a second, allowing the driver time to press the accelerator before the vehicle can roll backward. It’s especially helpful when you’re stopped on a steep grade with a vehicle close behind.
  • TRAILER TYRE-PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE MONITOR SYSTEM

This feature checks the pressure and temperature of the air inside of up to four trailer tyre to help detect potential blowouts.
  • In-Vehicle Trailering App

Silverado comes standard with the industry-first Advanced Trailer System. To ensure safe towing, the system includes pre-departure checklist, light sequencing, maintenance reminders, security alerts. The system can also provide prompt tow reminders, provide trailer electrical diagnostics and monitor tyre pressure

    In-Vehicle Trailering App
  • REAR VISION CAMERA

This feature is designed to allow the driver to use the touchscreen display to see certain stationary obstacles located behind the vehicle when traveling in reverse at low speeds. This feature is especially helpful when backing up to hitch your trailer.
  • TOW MODE

Tow mode on Silverado adjusts the shift schedule in the automatic transmission to prevent “hunting” for the correct gear while towing.
  • PRE-DEPARTURE CHECKLIST

Make sure everything is secure before hitting the open road with this built-in checklist.
  • TRAILERING PROFILES

Create named profiles for your trailers so you’ll have info like trailer mileage and tire pressure, maintenance reminders and Tow/Haul mode reminders at your fingertips.
